Reboot My Blade was built around a simple appreciation for a truly sharp edge and the care it takes to create one.
Based in Anoka, Minnesota, I take a hands-on approach to sharpening. Most knives are sharpened by hand using whetstones, giving me greater control over the edge rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all process. Knives may be my favorite, but they're far from the only thing that comes across my sharpening bench—from lawn mower blades and axes to garden, woodworking, leatherworking, and crafting tools.
Whether it's the kitchen knife you reach for every day, the hunting knife that's been with you for years, or the tool that just isn't cutting like it used to, the goal is the same:
